It's not like don't want to sleep, really. I'm convinced my body doesn't want to allow me a normal sleeping routine.
I woke up at 2 am this morning. And couldn't fall asleep. So I decided to head to the city and read mags in Border's while sipping a vanilla chiller drink. Actually, a sort of funny story sort of happened while I was ordering my drink. Disliking the taste of coffee, here's how I attempted to place my order:
Me: Hi! Do you happen to have any caffeine containing drinks that doesn't taste like coffee?
The looks on their faces were completely baffled, so I found it funny. The two chicks looked at each other and was like seriously thinking hard.
Girl1: Hmm, no caffeine? Hmm. Do you reckon we should give her the vanilla chiller? That's the one with the least coffee.
Girl2: Yeah, maybe...
Girl1: Oh, I'm sorry. Were you after a hot or cold drink?
Me: Haha I'm fine with anything!
Girl1: Yep, let's give her the vanilla chiller.
Girl2: Yep, vanilla chiller. We'll just put less coffee beans in it!
Me: Okay, thanks!
HAHA. That's me, queen of picky when it comes to food or drinks. =/ =/ The vanilla chiller turned out to be not bad, if you're wondering. :P
Anyways. After spending quite some time in Melb Central shopping (and sorta making a gay Caucasian friend in the process! :D), I headed back out to catch the tram back home, and these guys were promoting myki, which is gonna be the system replacing the old tram-ticket system very soon (by the end of this year, according to the dude). Woohoo, I learnt about myki in advance. That's sorta cool! ;) Gone are the tram ticket-buying process. Let's just hope the new system is gonna be cheaper! *crosses fingers*
People living in Melbourne, do visit myki.com.au to learn more. :)
BUT anywayys. Going back to the initial direction of my story, I went home, grabbed my books and headed to Swanston to attempt to study. Around 5+ pm, I was ready to faint from the lack of sleep so I decided to go back home and sleep. The plan was to sleep from 6 pm until 9 am, wake up and then go study. The plan was to get a normal sleeping routine, in simple terms.
So I went to sleep around 6 pm. I remembered dreaming that I was shopping, but when I was done shopping, I had nowhere to go. And that's when I woke up. I knew I couldn't have slept that long, but when I checked the clock, it was 9 freaking 30 pm.
That means I only slept for 3 and a half hours, max. -_-' Which is definitely not enough sleep. And now, it's 11.38 pm... and I can't sleep again. -_-'
HAHAHAHA. So, the conclusion to this whole entire pointless post is that I can't sleep. Again. This sucks. Arghhhhh.
But, just to end this completely pointless post on a more interesting note, I shall leave you here with this totally hilarious video from The Station that came out quite a while ago, but is now spanning a mini YouTube series. Check it out. :P
Ciao now!
P.S: Does anyone else besides me think that LisaNova looks like she belongs in Hollywood? :S Woah.

Brain damaged.
Okay yep, I think I do hate finishing exams late. A bunch of people are already singing their praises and enjoying because the exams for the subjects they take are set earlier, whereas mine are all at the end. -_-' As of now, I still have 3 papers to go. Woopee. At the moment, I'm still gonna have to study my ass off while attempting to pack up to move out of the apartment at the same time. Sucks. (Still gonna club this Friday after my Psych paper though, HEHEH. Stress release! :p)
Buttttt, despite my complaining though, I know when the time comes, it's all just gonna fly by so fast, I won't even notice. And then next thing you know, I'll be back home. Woahh. :)
Anyways, enough whining about exams from moi. I saw something quite interesting the other day in Big W. We were sorta wandering around, and I saw a few racks of these clothes and shoes, and I was like "Hmm, some of these are surprisingly really not too bad!"
And guess what I saw upon closer inspection...?
Ahh... that explains it!
They're apparently the new line inspired by the fashion in Gossip Girl! Which is... actually kinda cool, because the clothes are reasonably priced and don't look too bad. And they come with 'gossip girl the tv series' labels' in addition! Haha. :P
Actually, when I first saw the peach coloured shirt with the black vest-like material (3rd picture), I was actually reminded of one of Serena's more prominent oufits:
But then again, that wouldn't really be doing Serena justice, because almost everything she wears seems to be prominent in a good way. :)
And now... I have nothing else to say. So I shall leave now and attempt to get back to studying. And I know I've done this already before in one of my recent previous posts, but I'm gonna leave you guys anyway with the latest awesome single from my favourite Australian act at the moment, Short Stack! (I still can't get enough of this song! Freaking awesome.)
3 papers down, 3 more to go. :( On the bright side though, my next one is not until 27th! HEHEH.
I totally made use of my afternoon today to catch up on all the sleep I've been missing during the past 3 days of exams. I'm gonna bum today, it's my rest day. (I'll probably have to start studying again tomorrow, which sucks.)
However, I didn't waste my entire day - I did do something somewhat productive today - I actually started clearing out some of the rubbish in my room. I know - wow. :P
Packing is a bitch. -_-'
HAHA, some of my rubbish is now outside, waiting for transfer to Jas's place. And I gotta take down all my posters too, including that pink one!
I'm supposed to transfer them to my future home (aka Jas's current place) tomorrow, and I actually don't know how I'm going to do it, because they are HEAVY. Most likely, I'll call a cab. Which is stupid, because Jas's place is actually walking distance from my place - 10 minutes max, I would guess? But the stuff are gonna be too heavy for me to lug there, therefore the best solution is really to call a cab.
One of the perks of being female. :)
Still can't wrap my head around the fact that I'll be living in a completely different place next year, I've grown so used to the Arrow building. Though it's so tiny, I do adore its 'strategic location' between school and the main city area. :( I think I'm gonna miss it, even if only in a small way. Things are definitely gonna be... different in 2010.
Speaking of 2010 - Christmas decorations have sprung up all over Melbourne, reminding us that Christmas, and therefore, the New Year, is coming soon! Another year has almost gone by, woah. I think time seriously, seriously needs to slow down. :O It's going too fast for me to handle!
Yep, the government appears to extremely serious on ceiling insulation issues.
Pretty lights!
I'm looking forward to 2010. :) Not that 2009 was bad, in fact, compared to '08, it was pretty darn good, but it's just the prospect of new beginnings, I guess! Including a new chapter of my education when I start uni, which also means a new class timetable, muahaha. Totally crossing my fingers that I get a kick-ass timetable that gives me plenty of time to do whatever I want! I guess getting into uni would mean new friends as well? That would be also quite exciting, I think. :) At the moment though, my head is still messed up about which university and course to do. Currently, it's between Media & Comm. in Melb Uni or in RMIT, or Law in Monash. I'm only gonna have to make the decision in December, so I guess we gotta wait till then to see what happens! :S
Ah, I've been rambling on too much. I'm gonna leave you now here with a video of Lady Gaga's cameo in the latest Gossip Girl episode, if you haven't already seen it! Thank god she performed 'Bad Romance', it's the only song I like among all her new songs so far. :S (Although, I can say that 'Filthy Pop' isn't too bad, hmm.)
I think I do things way too randomly - just recorded a second Vlog. :) My videos are nothing great, I'm only just having fun rambling about my life, after all. But I do think it's great fun experimenting with Windows Movie Maker and YouTube, which is why there are so many annotations throughout the video this time!
Yesss, that's how I speak. Sue me.
Also, I want you guys to take a look at Tae Yang's latest video. You don't have to understand Korean, or listen to the song, just watch the video itself. I think it's one of the saddest stories, ever. :O :O :O I pity people who actually go through the same situation in real life.
So sad, right?? Geez. =/
HAHA anyways. I better get off and study. Ciao for now. ;)
11:26 PM
To sleep or not to sleep, part 2.
Well, as you can guess, ended up NOT sleeping when I said I would, just now. It's 12. 21 am, exams are in approximately 9 hours and not only am I totally not prepared for an essay on Hamlet, I am still freaking lacking sleep. Wonderful.
This is so annoying. I really do want to sleep. My head feels heavy, my eyelids feel heavy, my body wants to rest - all the physical signs of asking me to sleep. But when I turn off the lights, I just lay there on my bed, occasionally shifting into a more comfortable position and just staring wide-awake into the darkness. It sucks!
I WANT TO SLEEP LA. :(
Anyways. Just to make this post a little more interesting, I'm gonna post up a few pictures I saw off the net today of the amazing John Stallings. I have thought he is the most awesomest male model ever since I watched Janice Dickinson's Modelling Agency on MTV a couple of years ago, and that still stands today! Okay, Jonathan Rhys Meyer has a place in my heart too, but he's more of an actor now anyways ;)
So exams started off mildly today with EAP - which no one cares about. And Literature exam's tomorrow, and we're supposed to write a 1000-word essay answering a question on Hamlet, *yawn*.
Too many thees, thous and thys for my liking, urgh. I'm sure that every Trinity student at this point is completely sick with reading Hamlet and especially after last week's drama exams. I swear, I saw at LEAST 8 performances using the 'To be or not to be' line.
Going back to my EAP exam. It was at 9.30 am, and there I was, still awake at 6.30 am. -_-' I think I eventually drifted off to sleep around 7nish, only to wake up around 8.10 am for the exam. Can you say lack-of-sleep-head-spinning-like-crazy-during-exam much? =/ =/ =/ I definitely know I wasn't thinking my best due to the lack of sleep, crapp. So anyways, I came back home after lunch, bummed, then slept from 4 pm to 5 pm. I'm supposed to study now, but my head is still spinning, meaning I seriously need to get some sleep. But I'm worried that I can't wake up later to study! =/
Thus the question of 'to sleep or not to sleep' is raised. I guess I'm gonna sleep now, and wake up later to study. And how am I gonna stay awake, you might ask?
...
With Redbull!
(Celaka, just went down to buy this and it's like $3.50. I don't think that's very cheap. =/)
Yes, notice my dubious expression. I'm not exactly sure this will work either, but it worked for me during PMB back in Form 3, and O'levels too, I think. Not too sure about the O's last year, but I know it definitely worked for me in Form 3. :D I'm gonna attempt to rely on it again now!
Vain picture thrown in for good measure. HAHAHA.
HAHA. I shall now attempt to sleep and ... see what happens later. :P Ciao!

Absolutely adoring this song at the moment! I can't wait till the day Short Stack turn big and famous, love them!
Now that drama exams are over, and the weekend is over... the reality's sinking in that exams are soon. Very soon. In exactly 12 hours 21 minutes soon. Then exams will fly by in a blur, and before I know it, I'll be back home. :O Omg, it's all too much to take in.
Speaking of home, I just bought a bunch of Lindt chocolate bars for the bratty sisters back home! Sisters, bow down to me and say thank you for thinking of you guys! HAHAHA. (Okay, so they HAPPENED to be on sale, making me think of you guys, but whatever :p)
10 bars for you guys to chomp on and rot your teeth.
Also got one each for myself to enjoy now, MUAHAHA. :P
And a packet of Bailey's chocolates thrown in for good measure! These are sooooooo good. I've loved them ever since Jas brought them home after her year at Trinity! Woah. And now I'm getting done with Trinity. Time flies by too fast. =/
Haha but yeah going back to what I was saying, drama exams started on Wednesday morning, and ended on Friday afternoon. My group happened to be scheduled first of all to perform - the first final drama exam batch of Trinity 2009, something I will remember for life! HAHA. Talk about nerve-wrecking. But you know, being first wasn't so bad, because that meant that we were the first to get it over and done with, and could go do stuff like studying, while other people still had to rehearse/worry about their turn. :D [No pictures of my performance to post, unfortunately. :( ]
HAHA. Anyways. I'm gonna miss Trinity, I just know it. :( My last classes all ended with taking pics of the entire class and teachers!
My Literature tutorial mates! :)
And drama class! :
With Jack! :) I have to admit, initially at the beginning of the year, we all complained about how bad luck we had for getting Jack, the supposedly 'strictest, most technical drama teacher ever', but you know, I think we all got used to his ways, and made it work. I'm gonna miss Jack!
I'm gonna miss the entire Drama class! :(
Hehe. :p
I seriously think drama class taught me the most out of all my classes in Trinity. Confidence, improvisation, self-esteem, punctuality, practice - important lessons for a successful life. And I was lucky enough to be put in a drama class in which I actually enjoyed myself, and clicked with every single drama mate. :)
But yeah, enough whining about how much I'm gonna miss Trinity. I've gotta concentrate on exams. I can proudly declare that I've been to the library everyday studying for the past 5 days! (Even while drama exams were on!) I'm gonna have to keep up the studying - it's do or die time. Whether I get into university next year will be determined by these exams. Woahh. It's almost surreal. :O
Speaking of the library, though. It was really funny because on the first two nights we (Jan, Roshini and I) were there, stuff happened. On the first night, we were all sitting quietly studying, when suddenly this guy goes out the door nearest to us and starts screaming out loud, tearing out his hair in frustration.
I was trying so hard not to laugh, because I thought it was seriously hilarious, but when I looked around, I noticed that it wasn't just me - EVERYONE was trying hard not to laugh. :p So people were speculating that he had gone mad with studying, or was too stressed out by exams, but I, for some reason, immediately thought "I BET it has something to do with his girlfriend", and the dudes at the next table actually asked crazy-guy's friend what happened, and she told us it was cos he was pissed off at a friend for saying "Hi" to his girlfriend. As soon as we heard that, everyone couldn't stand it anymore, we all burst out laughing. Dude, how over possessive can you get?!
---
Guy's GF: Hey, what's up?
Guy's friend: Hi...
Guy: ARGHH! @()$!@(*%&@# Don't talk to my gf!!!
---
Hahaha, omg, too funny. Anyways, that's just me imagining what happened la, but it sounds too stupid a reason. I guess something more must have happened, like maybe the crazy-guy never liked the guy who said hi to his girlfriend? Hmm.
But anyways, the next night, Roshini and her cousins were eating a pizza at the table they were studying at (food is actually not allowed inside, but everyone eats in there anyway), when the security guard walks past and scolds them for bringing food in. So they put the pizza away, and next thing you know, an announcement comes over the speakers:
"People, be respectful and please don't treat the library like a cafe where you can chat with your friends, and eat! Eating food is prohibited in the library. And if you don't know what food is - if other people can see it, smell it, or hear it, it's food. Thank you!"
HAHAHAHHAHAHAA. Since when can we hear food?! Hahaha. I thought the announcer was cool, though, because it showed he had a sense of humor to say something like that.
Hahaha. I'm laughing at how I totally just wasted 5 minutes of whoever that's reading this at the moment's life with this utterly pointless post. Hahaha. I shall now get off and do some studying. Or attempt to, anyways. Not sure whether I'll be blogging more or less with the upcoming exams. Ciao, till the next post. :P
P.S: If you haven't already heard Ke$ha's 'Tik Tok' at least 10 times by now, go do it now! And then listen to this equally awesome remix! ;) Fun fact, Ke$ha happens to be the girl who sings alongside Flo Rida in 'Right Round'!
- Because it's so hot outside. 29.6 degrees at the moment, and it's NIGHT time. Imagine what's it like in the afternoon. -_-'
- Because tomorrow is the last day of Trinity. :O
- Because drama exam's the day after tomorrow.
- Because exams officially start next week, and I still haven't started studying hardcore.
- Because my room is THAT messy.
- Because my feet are suffering some serious peeling from dryness (Okay, that might have been too much info, sorry for totally grossing you out).
- Because I actually finished the entire 324 pages of L.A Candy before sunrise this morning. :O :O :O (I'm actually looking forward to Book 2, which is apparently coming out in February
Haha, can you can tell how bored I am? -_-' I decided to do this post just because I saw it as another way of procrastination - because I seriously don't feel like studying!
Urghhhhhhh. I don't wanna study. :(
